Apperknowle Farm in Sheffield partnered with Tate Solar to install a 25.8kW solar PV system comprising 60 high-performance solar panels. The system was designed to help reduce rising electricity costs while providing a long-term, sustainable energy solution for the farm.
Since installation, the farm has achieved a 52% reduction in electricity bills, delivering significant ongoing savings and greater protection against future energy price increases. Based on current energy usage and savings, the system is expected to achieve a payback period of just 3 years and 10 months, making it a smart long-term investment.
